All About Crafty Scrapper

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Jordana and I am the owner of Crafty Scrapper. Crafty Scrapper is located in Rivers, Manitoba Canada and specializes in scrapbooking and card making as well as other craft supplies. Scrapbooking has been a part of my life ever since my mother started a “scrapbook” of our various trips as young children. Now, so many years later, the scrapbooking industry has exploded while preserving memories, telling life stories, and acts as an indispensable tool of therapeutic value. I was first introduced to “to-days” scrapbooking as a counsellor for teenagers and was amazed how therapeutic and how much it promoted self healing for the youth I worked with as well as myself…I was hooked. As a mother of a now 18 year old boy I have carried on the tradition of scrapbooking to the new level available through all the wonderful paper, embellishments, tools, stickers, machines and varies themes and life lessons! I have enjoyed scrapping family, baby pictures, first year activities, school, soccer, hockey, graduation and the list goes on and on. Oh yes, I have even “scrapped” the boxes and boxes of memories, keepsakes, photos, postcards and everything else my mom kept in a box over the last 40 years . ( sound familiar) Scrapbooking has proven to be a great self healing tool in the grief process while making a heritage album of my mom and extending the album to generations past. ( I strongly recommend this). I love playing and learning new techniques and passing them on to my customers. I welcome and encourage comments, sharing techniques, ideas, page layouts and most importantly the discovery of ones self, family and other people’s stories and of course, the socialization of scrapbooking!!! We have classes, crops, make n takes, swaps and other events, birthday parties, and summer camp sessions! We welcome appointments and private crops, just give us a call!
